First off let me start by saying that I was praying that someone besides Sonic would come out with mozzarella sticks. Sonic’s are like the holy grail: juicy, cheesy, and perfectly crisp. But I have no idea why Houston is limited on Sonics. Sonic if you are listening, PLEASE BUILD MORE IN HOUSTON.

So, when I heard that McDonald’s came out with mozzarella sticks I was super pumped. And not only because I could have even more of a reason to go get a hot ‘n spicy, but because there are McDonald’s everywhere! So today I set out on a mission to try these bad boys. The first thing you need to realize is that they are small. But like I’ve said before, I like a good deal and you get 3 for $1! But seriously they are small. Like pinkie finger size small. As for the taste test I was disappointed that mine seemed to have been sitting under the heating rack for awhile. The juiciness was gone and the cheese was hard. But the seasoning was tasty and the marinara sauce was impressive. If they can get their mozzarella stick’s freshness up to par to their marinara sauce then we will be set. But it wasn’t enough to push me away, I’ll be back.
